Woman Films Herself Getting Shot in Chest by Boyfriend
Jataí, Goiás state, Brazil

According to reports, the military police were informed that a young woman had been admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, where she was declared dead.

At the hospital, the victim's boyfriend, identified as 27-year-old D.F.B., claimed to have been driving a vehicle with his girlfriend as a passenger when they were approached by two individuals on a motorcycle, who shot the victim.

During the police interview, inconsistencies arose in the boyfriend's account, leading the police team to escort him to the Civil Police Station for further questioning.

Upon inspecting the cellphone of the victim, identified as 23-year-old I.G.A., a video was discovered in which she herself filmed her boyfriend aiming a firearm at her and firing a shot that struck her. In light of these events, the boyfriend was arrested on charges of qualified homicide.
