I agree. I've had two Taurus revolvers, a .357 mag 669 model, and a .22lr 9 shot revolver, both stainless steel. The .22lr was garbage, horrible trigger action and often wouldn't rotate the cylinder or fire. It also clogged with lead and was extruding bullets after 500 rounds, I never was able to remove the lead buildup in the bore. I sold it to a gun store for $70 and was happy with that to be rid of it.

Re: Woman Executed from Point-blank Range by Two Men Over a $269 Debt
They have ostensibly become vastly more respectable at present. Even after 30 years, they still couldn't ever quite figure out the American market, and the company was floundering. So they brought in an American CEO and an American engineering team, whose first order of business was addressing the fact that - as you say - their guns were shittier than ever due do manufacturing standards being...somewhat lacking. The first model that was developed by the new team the "Curve" - a $200 concealed carry .380 with a built-in laser sight, flashlight, and a grip bowed out to the side - has been a resounding success. It's a dumb gimmick, but that's what you need to make it in America. |
