Police said the weapons used in the murder were a 380 pistol and a 38-pistol - the same type of weapons seized from suspects. She was shot 5 times, the first one in her head.

Never clean your gun, wear it against your sweaty, greasy skin for 10+ years until it is rusted and covered with toe jam, butt jam and ear wax. Amazing that these guns fire at all. The revolver worked, the guy with the auto pistol had to stay behind, rack the slide and fire again to get his single shot into her head. I think the revolver is a Brazilian Taurus, I had a Taurus with the exact same wooden grips.

Reminds me of my trip to Belo Horizonte, Brazil when I worked in software in the early 1990's. Our Brazilian distributor paid me $20,000 in US $100 bills which I had to carry thru Rio on my way back to Chicago. I said a check would be better, they said can't do it, they would have to pay some massive taxes or some such thing. My Israeli jewish boss was asked by our accountant how I got the money back to the USA, he said "Gimlet converted it to cocaine..."
