I first wanna say thank you for your reply...Your story doesn’t suprise me one bit. As I got to the end I immediately thought about an article I read on the net while doing a research paper for a sex crimes class I was taking back in college. It was about a psychologist (or psychiatrist, I can’t remember) who wrote a paper defending his stance on why he thought it was a bad idea to have women and men fighting alongside each other in warfare. He brought up a few different points but what stood out to me was his findings about what witnessing violence and being in stressful situations does to the sexual biology of both genders. One of his main arguments was, and I’m heavily paraphrasing, that you would have too much fucking going on while in the middle of missions because extreme stress and sexual arousal correlate with each other. I would expound more on the article but I’m sure you get the idea. Not to mention, we all know about various serial killers who’s motivations, whether underlying or gratuitous, were clearly sexual. To deny that these two subjects (sex and violence) don’t correlate is just plain foolish, my argument is just that it’s a problem depending on context. But if we wanna be all-the-way-real with ourselves, what exactly is existence and/or reality? A cycle of creation (raw sexual energy/union) and destruction (death/violence)
