I thought this but someone made the point that if they weren't making money from drugs they'd find some other business to exploit. Prostitution, "protection", etc. So the problem is actually deeper than only drugs(although that might help). It's about improving conditions across the planet. Increasing education and other factors that heavily determine how people grow into adulthood. Unfortunately we don't live a system that's very good at adopting change unless it's for the already powerful and wealthy. |
