Re: Woman Dies in Accident While Performing Acrobatics
There’s always risk associated with stunts like this. It only takes a sprained wrist at the wrong moment to take down even the best of stuntmen, and that’s what makes it exciting.

I’m pretty sure it’s mainland China since it sounds like Chinese is being spoken in the video.

Re: Woman Dies in Accident While Performing Acrobatics
You're correct, it happened in Suzhou, Anhui province. Supposedly, the two acrobats were a husband and wife. They had engaged in a quarrel directly before the performance and did not fasten their safety buckle. The husband denied this in an interview: "We have been very happy, basically I haven't quarreled much. This matter I am still processing, the specific details are not convenient to disclose for the time being." https://www.163.com/dy/article/I2F30DEH05562A6U.html https://www.163.com/dy/article/I2FKH2BF0514R9NP.html |

Re: Woman Dies in Accident While Performing Acrobatics
Yep. I know from my years of work with aircraft accidents that the rapid decrease in speed pulls the organs away from the attachments, like a heart ripping away from the blood vessels. Same for liver and lungs. So you look at the person in the passenger compartment and they don't LOOK too bad, but their organs are ripped loose. Internal bleeding kills them in seconds.
