What the officer did, in no way excuses the gravity, grievousness and venality of her murderous actions. She was a hardened criminal and I am happy she is dead, and the officer lived. Good job, officer, cleaning our streets of the vicious, criminal element. |

Re: Woman Died After Shootout During a Traffic Stop in Nashville
The problem with this comment is the video doesn't show that. You're just making an assumption. I'll make an assumption. He runs the tag finds out the owner has warrants. Maybe she committed a traffic infraction. He approaches the car and sees her digging around in the car . And she's acting really suspicious. And at the beginning of the video he's asking her about drugs that she voluntarily told him about. Then he finds more drugs she tried to be sneaky with putting it in her purse after she thought the officer was done searching it. She's acting really nervous, really jumpy. Asking to go in a store to go to the bathroom. I'd say this is a good cop. He knew something isn't right with this lady. And he was right. He just didn't think she was going to pull out a gun. He should have code 3 his back up. I do agree that cops do abuse their authority of illegal searches. But that's what lawyers are for. |

Re: Woman Died After Shootout During a Traffic Stop in Nashville
Letting someone that obese serve as a police officer out in the public is irresponsible on many levels. If he has a heart attack while on duty (which seems likely at some point), his death or injuries would be considered "work related" and the police department would have to foot the bill to the tune of quite a bit of money. That money comes from city and state taxes. Personally I wouldn't want to pay for that.

To be on the safe side I'd use hunting ammo, terminal ballistics will ensure dropping such a beast with one shot! |
