Re: Woman Died After Shootout During a Traffic Stop in Nashville
You people are sick and twisted. That's why these black people in America hate you white people. Everything was done wrong in this situation.

Re: Woman Died After Shootout During a Traffic Stop in Nashville
Fun fact. The TN General Assembly just very recently, within the past few days, passed a law allowing concealed and open carry of handguns, without a permit and/or training requirements. Soon to be signed into law by our governor.

Yeah like not following simple instructions and stop reaching for shit in your vehicle, and maybe not firing a weapon at a police officer that's just doing his job. You're a retard btw. |

Re: Woman Died After Shootout During a Traffic Stop in Nashville
There has been some talk of possible 4th Amendment violations in this thread. I'm not arguing against that for two reasons: 1. I don't have all available evidence; 2. All citizens are entitled to have their legal injuries adjudicated before a Court. Number two is important here folks. A citizen must know their rights AND be willing to settle disputes legally. Porky Pig ( Americans, say what you will about police. I would assume each of you set standards for your community police and actively participate in local decision making processes. Otherwise your opinion means dick. Much of policy regarding policing is rather informed by judicial decisions (due process decisions, civil rights litigation) and criminology (you can't argue with good data). So, if you feel your rights have been infringed, exercise your right to a judicial hearing. It's not the job of the police to protect individual rights. Attempting to dispatch a cop doesn't solve the problem for the next joe whose rights may be infringed. tldr: LEO conducting an unconstitutional search doesn't justify escalation of violence (duh, but necessary). And, again, how's that non-lethal force working out? Would have been funny if Porky-dark employed some non-lethal force right back at Porky-light. |

Re: Woman Died After Shootout During a Traffic Stop in Nashville
All the people here after the cop like he did wrong, was he supposed to just stand there and get shot? He told her several times to put the gun down. Hes not one of the cops using deadly force right off the bat he tased her and it seems like all it did was piss her off more. If she would have complied from the start, she'd still be alive. He found weed in her purse, not sure on Tennessee laws but he still let her be on her phone and smoke her cigarette. She got treated nicer by that cop than a lot of cops I've seen
