According to MNPD, Officer Baker expected to encounter Demond Buchanan at the wheel. He is the owner of the car and has six outstanding drug warrants, but Holbert was behind the wheel instead.

If that's the case, why was she detained?

After the incident, the police department released a shortened version of their exchange captured on the officer's body-worn camera and from his cruiser. On Monday, NewsChannel5 obtained the uncut video of the police stop.

In the uncut video, Officer Baker establishes with Holbert that Buchanan is not in the car. Holbert tells the officer it is her car now and she hasn't seen him recently. When asked if there is anything illegal in the vehicle, Baker tells the officer there is weed.

I'll be the first to defend the police, but this cop had poor tactics from the beginning. She made me jumpy immediately, and asking to use the bathroom at the start is a classic "need to dump some shit quick" move. He should have had her ass at the rear bumper from the start and if she wants to wander back and forth from her car, drop her and cuff her. This could have been avoided.

Well love her or hate her, she did kinda go out movie style man. Shooting at the cops, screeching-tire getaway while pumped full of lead, took multiple shots- the yolo crash off the side of the road now bleeding out, sirens approaching.. That's a pretty fucking cool way to go out

So the window magically exploded behind the officer for absolutely no reason. I mean it couldn't have been from a bullet being fired from INSIDE the vehicle. Cuz that would be logical.
