Re: Woman Dead After Falling from Balcony Engulfed in Smoke
Did you take into consideration the temperature and the black smoke. I only accidentally boiled oil and in moments there was smoke filling up the kitchen. My eyes were stinging, was difficult breathing and even talking when I called 911. That wasn’t even a fire. So imagine this woman. The heat from the fire would be reaching her at the balcony. The black smoke is probably choking and blinding her, as well as disorienting her. Even if she was able to think of getting herself up on the ledge, standing on it, her hands feet body facing the fire would be heated, maybe even melting her clothes on her, as well as her skin. She wouldn’t be able to hold on too long. The smoke, the raging black smoke is deadly. And would be blowing right into her airway. |

Can't blame her for jumping out. Fire has the ability to force you to dive into a fire pit just to escape from it! |

What was the point if you are just going to drop it in the way back down anyway? Shameful. |
