Woman Dead After Falling from Balcony Engulfed in Smoke
Romania, An apartment, engulfed in flames, and a woman, caught in the thick smoke and flames of the apartment, saw the only escape being the balcony window. After trying to get her hands on the edge of the balcony, she fell down from the sixth floor of the building. The medical staff tried resuscitation maneuvers on the 57-year-old woman, being in cardio-respiratory arrest but the doctors declared the woman dead short time later. She previously had left the burning apartment with her husband, but returned for her laptop. The clarifications were made by the woman's husband. "I took her forward, she stayed behind and, unfortunately, without knowing it, she returned. Probably because of the fire, she couldn't go out and went to the balcony ", he said. Asked if there was anything important in the laptop, the man replied that his wife was an accountant, "she kept accounts". |

Re: Woman Dead After Falling from Balcony Engulfed in Smoke
I sure wouldn't give my life for my computer. If I had it with me, and saw a fire, I would stop and toss it in. When I replace this one, I'm going to take this one out in the yard, smash it with an ax, pour gasoline on it, and set it on fire. That's what I did with my Packard-Bell when I got this useless POS I'm using now. Hers must have been hooked up to her vibrator. |

You sound like a really fun guy. A real man —completely in control of his emotions.

I AM in control of my emotions. That's why I will destroy my computer, AFTER I get a new one. If I wasn't in control, I would have already destroyed it, and wouldn't be able to be on here, looking at headless corpses. You sound like a really fun chick, who would run into a burning building to rescue her computer. Good for you. |

I'm surprised at how many people have almost ZERO common sense, not really though, ugh. Just looking at that ledge where the smoke was coming from to me it looked like there was plenty of room to get on it and move to one side or the other to avoid all the smoke. |

Re: Woman Dead After Falling from Balcony Engulfed in Smoke
Seton Hall Uni had a fire and 3 students were killed. Allegedly one of them had gone back inside to get his laptop because it was expensive. He ended up dying! I remember my mom saying, don’t go back into a fire, your life is more important than a computer. Very sad when people can’t realize this. What a world we live in, objects over people. |
