But who does understand is truck drivers. If there were a poll on who do you think is careless here. My vote goes to the truck driver.

The truck driver should have been on the brakes as soon as seeing the woman walking into his turning zone. And the truck driver would usually have an eye on that mirror as he's making the corner. Which should have given him a good view of the woman in his way.

I'm not necessarily blaming the trucker. The woman walked into the roadway, maybe on purpose.

It just surprises me, almost suspicious, that the trucker didn't see what was about to happen in plenty of time to prevent it. But maybe he just saw her, thought he had plenty of room, and that she would stay back so his attention was on something else.

Or he was road raging.

Maybe the driver was on his phone too lol

I highly doubt she(or he/they) survived that. Even if the truck was not transporting anything it still looked fatal.
