Woman Is Crushed by Malfunctioning Lift in Front of Daughter and Grandson
Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, India A 50-year-old woman, Vanitha, was on an elevator alongside her daughter and grandson in an apartment building when, after arriving on their floor, the lift malfunctioned and moved down while its door was still open. The daughter and grandson had by then safely left the elevator, but Vanitha became trapped and suffered severe injuries. She was shifted to a hospital for treatment, but her condition deteriorated and she ultimately succumbed. |

she avoided water electrocution and drowning elephants and building collapses and 2 wheeler deaths only to get stuck in the lift one day. India is like a big game of frogger.
