Unsurpassed imbecility. woman doesn't look at oncoming traffic. Only thing I can think of is the car pulled out from behind a slower car to pass on the left and didn't have time to stop when they saw her. Or they were just as stupid and unaware of their surroundings as the pedestrian...

That's a surprisingly well-developed road for Vietnam. I don't think I've seen highways like that before. Usually they are one narrow lane in each direction.
