Re: Woman Burns to Death In Car While Bystanders Film It
i get you. and you are probably right. who knows what happened before it was filmed. maybe someone tried, but no one was even near it attempting to help. watching it on here made me feel helpless like i wanted to jump thru the screen and save the woman myself. poor lady.

Beside the fact if you would rescue her yes or no, I can say you as professional, at this point you cant grab her with you hands. The skin would literally fall of, even with rescue gloves its sometimes to slippery to hold anyone with such injury. If the fire is like this I would recommend not to extinguish with water because the steam will cause more damage. |

Recording the scene is a much more productive way to keep yourself busy. Oh, I forgot, that isn't "moral".

Re: Woman Burns to Death In Car While Bystanders Film It
There was no chance of saving her in that case, her left leg is trapped against the B-pillar by the driver's seat, and I suspect looking at the level of fire damage to that vehicle that it went up in flames very quickly due to fuel still being pumped out of a ruptured fuel line by a fuel pump that didn't shut off in the crash...

Most of these countries really need to make vehicle safety up to par levels. In the USA we dont see a lot of these type crashes nowadays. People are surviving much more often that 20 years ago. The rest of the world needs to follow suit.
