in some countries, lending help is a big no-no. if you help the injured people, it is considered an admission of guilt and the family may very well sue you for everything you have (which in many cases is not much at all). i assume that in those countries, pictures and videos might be able to be sold to media outlets, which then means they can have at least 1 meal. as we have seen on this site, the censors in 3rd world countries think totally different to those in the western world. teenage girls in the philippines are much more desensitised to gore than hardened cops in australia - it is sad, but just the way it is

plus, all of those people watching others die without lending a hand, do not expect anything different if they are the ones injured - not necessarily right, but everyone knows where they stand :(

I wouldn't concern myself about what any authorities "frown" on. Unless they have laws to back that up there is nothing they can do to you. And in most western countries (all as far as I know) there are no laws against recording something occurring in a public space. Many cops wish that there were such laws so that people couldn't record them going about their business. Disapproval, not backed up by concrete law, should not be allowed to intimidate anybody.

i am not sure if it is actually illegal or not, but if not, they would still find many other ways to get you (and quite rightfully so)

the media would get wind of it, and every pitchfork /torch bearer in country would be on your doorstep within minutes

I agree with all previous assessments about the radiant heat making it nearly impossible to do anything, and I'll ad that even if you got there with a fireman's suit on, and pulled her, she's likely stuck too hard in there to do anything and assuming you could pull her, you'd likely pull all the skin off in the process. She was fucked either way.

It'd be nice to know you wouldn't get in trouble for a mercy headshot in this type of situation, but I'm sure you'd get all sorts of fucked over for doing it. Which is pretty sad that you'd have to even second think that even if you had a gun, because she had to suffer like that due to some legal bullshit. I mean, you can put down a horse with a bullet over a broken leg and everyone is cool with it. A person burning beyond reasonable help? Nope, you gotta roast.
