Re: Woman Attacked with Acid
Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who threw a jar of acid at a Surrey business owner. On the morning of Sept. 7, Tammy Sinclair was working at Sinclair’s Motorsports, the business she owns with her husband Gordon on 71A Avenue, when she was approached by a man who appeared to be a customer. The man chatted with her about ATVs and dirtbikes for a few minutes and then, without warning, threw a jar filled with muriatic acid in her face. As Tammy screamed for her husband, the man ran away. Gordon ran out of his office, helped Tammy take her sweater off and then called 911. Tammy was taken to hospital, where she was treated for minor burns to her face. Police say the attack was targeted, but they don’t yet know the motive. The Sinclairs say they’d never seen the man before and have no idea why he threw acid at Tammy. “It’s a cowardly act, unprovoked, and Tammy didn’t even see it coming. I didn’t see it coming,” Gordon told reporters Friday. Tammy’s injuries were less severe than they might have been because she turned her head when the man threw the acid in her face. “My wife dodged a bullet,” Gordon said. Gordon said life since the attack has been “a living hell.” Tammy has been living in fear, they’ve seen suspicious vehicles at their home and business, and both she and Gordon are suspicious of any customers who come to their shop. After investigating for five months, police decided on Friday to release to the public video footage of the attack and surveillance photos of the suspect, two male associates and a possible getaway vehicle. “We believe this is the last piece of the puzzle that we need to bring all the parts of the case together,” said Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet. The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his 20s or 30s, five-foot-six to five-foot-10, with very short blond or light brown hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, dark hoodie, checkered shorts and white running shoes. The vehicle is believed to be a green Dodge Colt or Geo Metro. Police say the two male associates are considered persons of interest and investigators would like to speak with them. A special tip line has been set up and anyone with information is asked to call 604-599-7676 and quote file number 2013-118333, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. “Please, if you have any information about this case, for Tammy for her family, call us,” Paquet said. Re: Woman Attacked with Acid
I dont think its from the flesh burning, its the acid itself. For example hydrochloric acid is fuming if its concentrated enough (above around 35% m/m, if I remember correctly), its easily obtainable (no paperwork whatsoever) and still very damaging.

Re: Woman Attacked with Acid
She was standing there like, "What the fuck you gonna do?" She found out. I'm saying it is ok to hurt women. But to say they never deserve it is just fucking crazy.
