Last year I cut some trees in the yard. it's only until when you're up there, strapped, with the electric saw, that you realize this is one fucking dangerous job. You gotta make that final cut and you have to plan out every which angle the tree could fall, or sometimes it might go straight at you. yea, those guys screaming timber in the forest, RESPECT

I did tree work one time, it was December 2019, and it was a huge piece of tree folded but not all the way snapped off, my boss cut and this 900 pound log flew right over us as it swing around, had we both not ducked it'd be over. Havent done tree work since that day and never will again. It really went in an odd angle and landed where we least thought it would land at. Fuck that.

I guess he expected the tree was going to suspend itself in mid air for enough time for him to float to safety before watching it descend to the ground. This is why you should stay away from drugs, kids.

I call bs on it hitting another tree. The man just did not know what he was doing. He cut it wrong and he cut it from a ladder. What a way to escalate the danger. He tried to save some money and it cost him his life. One fortunate thing, it was caught on video for all of us to see.  |
