Window Washer, Still Attached to His Safety Harness, Slams Against High-rise
West Surabaya. While Eddy. S, 51, and a colleague, Ribut.B, 54, were cleaning windows on the 26th floor, a sudden downburst and heavy rain hit the area. The gondola was violently shaken by the wind. Eddy reportedly fell from the platform but remained attached to his safety harness. Tragically, the wind was so strong that he was repeatedly slammed against the building's exterior, leading to fatal injuries. Ribut managed to stay inside the gondola and was rescued by emergency teams and taken to Hospital to be treated for severe shock and minor injuries. |

At couple of things I noticed, you can tell right away that scaffolding is very well secured to its cables and the guy’s harness is also very well attached to the scaffolding. He is definitely not going to fall. Great find by the way K. |

That can happen when there is a turbulent eddy near the corner of a high-rise building, and you can clearly see it in those videos. Its sad that it resulted in the death of a window washer (also, ironically, named Eddy) because the eddy made Eddy turbulent. Kellyhound, you missed the chance for one of the best thread titles ever: Turbulent eddy makes Eddy turbulent |

They could even call it "The Window Washer"! And the MOTTO would be "Are you brave enough to see it through? |
