Truly, that man is being comforted by loving presence of his wife, and he doesn't cognitively know it.....but his soul is the better for it! In Paradise, God willing, he'll come to the "knowledge" that she never truly left him!

It makes me grateful for the level of emergency care we have in the U.S. Dude in jeans and sandals with no gloves throws you on a stretcher by grabbing your exposed femur. WTF?? At least they had some emergency response this time.
