Wife on the Back of a Motorcycle Dies After Being Hit by a Flatbed Truck
Guatemala, A flatbed truck carrying construction materials made a left turn without noticing that a motorcycle was on its left side. On that motorcycle was a married couple. The wife, M.Y.Z.O, 32, on the back of the motorcycle took the full hit and died while the husband, J.J, suffered minor injuries. The trucker fled after learning the condition of the motorists. The woman wasn't wearing a helmet.  |

He must have fled on foot then. The truck is parked up in the background of the location of the dead woman.

Wow. To think that wearing a helmet might have saved her. And he shouldn’t have fled. The motorcyclist was in the wrong for driving thru a lane that seems blocked. They were also in his blind spot. Trucker wasn’t speeding either. |

It’s a barrier. Do you not live or have never driven thru areas with construction? There is a reason why you don’t disregard the barriers and blocked lanes. Even on a bike. It’s not that difficult.  |
