Re: What Another Country Saw on 9/11/2001
I've always been one on conspiracy theories, to be honest with everyone. Sure they can be silly, but finding dozens of accounts of lower floor explosions - as if they were placed on the support beams between the ground floor and floor 23 - can definitely convince a guy. In all honesty, I still feel this was America's way of finding a reason to invade the Middle East. It will never truly be known, however. |

She seemed like the only person there who really understood how dangerous the situation was. That boiling cloud that raced through the streets when the buildings fell was hundreds of degrees and incinerated everything in its path. It wasn't just a cloud of harmless smoke. It was death moving at 30mph. |

What you're seeing is the initial failure of the structure in the floors that were struck by the airplane. Each FLOOR of those buildings weighed 15 million pounds. Take that weight, add gravity, then add the weight under it, accelerating toward the ground until it reaches terminal velocity. |

Re: What Another Country Saw on 9/11/2001
Yes, there was an outburst of flames and smoke at the ground levels when the airplanes hit -- the elevator shafts in the building acted like wind tunnels. The explosion of the impact sought the path of least resistance. Elevator shafts are open channels, and a lot of the explosion raced down through them.
