Re: Welder Killed by Exploding Truck Tire
Once had the same thing happen to me on a bin truck in London, on a 22.5, only i was just inflating it , not welding it, put me in hospital for 2 weeks with perforated eardrums, left eye partially deflated, pockmarks to the face and neck as water in the air crystalises when the tyre blows, and ruptured larynx as a result of ingested pressure, i was lucky , many had been killed with the same before me, i never worked on hgv tyres again despite training, accidents and the unknown still happen regardless, as we all know on here, in stead i started an apprentiship with the bomb squad in the regular army, can you see a pattern deveoping here ? |

Re: Welder Killed by Exploding Truck Tire
Probably a youngster with no practical experiences and obviously not enough guidance. I know I could have bought it a ton of times if not for someone looking out. Now I'm fifty and still pretty much complete other than some bumps and bruises..
