Videographer Filming Bride's Farewell Flung into Air by Speeding Car
India. A joyful wedding celebration turned into a scene of horror on Wednesday morning when 27-year-old videographer A.K. was struck and killed by a speeding car while capturing the bride’s departure. He was hired to document a wedding at a resort and during the vidaai (the emotional ceremony where the bride leaves her parental home), he was walking backward onto the road to get a wide shot of the decorated car. He was so focused on his camera viewfinder that he did not see a speeding white Maruti Ritz approaching from behind. The car striked him at high speed, flinging him nearly 30 meters (approx. 100 feet) into the air. He landed with immense force and succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The driver has been identified as 25-year-old Sandeep. Local police from the Civil Lines station arrived shortly after and took Sandeep into custody. He has been charged with causing death by negligence, though reports indicate he was later released on bail pending further investigation. |

Maybe if he wasn't living in his own little box he might have paid attention to his surroundings |

If not, a black magic ritual to bring him back to life and make him finish the ONE damn job he was given would be appropriate.

Wonder if he ever did work in a war zone? Many war photographers will tell you, some shots would be worth dying for. Best to shake that attitude when back in the world, though.

Re: Videographer Filming Bride's Farewell Flung into Air by Speeding Car
Standard Indian wedding practice, kill the videographer at the end, take his camera and you don't have to pay him. Then, set the bride on fire in a kitchen. Now you saved the video fee, gained a camera and dowry and ditched a bride...

best case scenario for the family is that the videographer wasn't related to them. that makes it slightly less of a tragedy
