Three different angles. Last one is high quality of the animated GIF that you posted. This was a P-51 crash at the Reno Air Races just a few weeks back. Search it on the interwebs if you want more info. The most accepted conclusion so far is that the trim tab ripped off.

I keep searching this video on google but cannot find this video. I have seen the video on this site somewhere but i forget the title. And sorry i know this belongs in the request video topic. But in the video there is a man who is dragged along two cars with both his arms tied with ropes behind the two cars. And then when the cars drive away the arms both snap. And in the end of the video there is some guys who is finishing the guy by shooting him. I dont even know if its real or not. Its pretty sick.
