I've recently stumbled upon YouTube channels that examine a lot of cave and diving disasters. A lot of them mention video footage that confirms what led to the disaster but I haven't been able to find any actual footage from divers or spelunkers documenting the disaster. Is anyone familiar with footage of this nature? For example there was a story of Paul Hayden in Goss canyon that died while diving in an abandoned cave because he reached an air pocket and took a breath but was overwhelmed by high density carbon dioxide air. This story claims that the video footage confirms he came up to the air pocket, removed his breathing apparatus, took a breath, and then started to sink.

Early talk from Bangkok police think this was a targeted poisoning, not necessarily from food. All six victims were found in the same room with the door locked. Thailand officials are hurting to increase tourism right now, so info may not be too forthcoming. I'm very skeptical that any police video will leak, assuming there is any. Perhaps some hotel security video may leak in coming days...

I've checked and I'm reasonably sure that DR doesn't have this footage. I also checked some of my off-site sources with no results.

Since the original GoPro video is nearly 25 years old, I'm skeptical that the full length version is publicly accessible except for the very short clips used in those YT documentaries, assuming they are original. But I'll keep looking when I can.

Ms. S.C. (56 years old, US passport) after poisoning 5 people, Ms.S.C seems to have committed suicide by drinking another poison.

It is likely that the poison used by Ms.S.C. is more powerful than cyanide which was used on the others. The police also confirmed that there was a strong poison in the drink left at the scene.

Regarding the motive for the crime and self-poisoning, the police said the cause was related to debt, a debt of 10 million baht (about 7 billion VND).

Relatives of one of the victims said that the suspect S. C. and Ms. Nguyen T.P.L. (47 years old) had cooperated to invest in building a hospital in Japan. However, the business activities of these two people need further investigation.

According to the police, Mr. P. H. T. (49 years old) and Ms. N. T. P. (46 years old) are husband and wife, they own a bridge and road company in Vietnam.

Their daughter said that her parents went to Thailand to negotiate a large sum of money that had been loaned to someone else.

The police confirmed that Mr. T. had repeatedly asked Ms. S.C. to return the money he lent her but failed, after which they were asked to go to Thailand to discuss how to settle the debt. Because they could not get a Japanese visa, the couple flew to Thailand to meet Ms.S.C. Officials believe the couple were poisoned because they could not negotiate a settlement of the debt.
