There was a video that went viral around 2004/2005, and was still relatively easy to find just a few short years ago, but I haven't seen it since. It was surveillance (CCTV?) footage. A teenage girl was mugged then beaten (stomped on) while waiting for an elevator. Supposedly happened in Russia. The video had a nickname, "One Girl And 99 Stomps". I have this one, but everyone says it's a fake--a "Phoney", an "illegitimate production", they say "that is not authentic sir", etc. Although, I feel that many may have come to this conclusion after hearing the oddly loud and out of place sound effect like thumpery after the shot, and I would not do so. Those television personalities wear lavalier mics (tie, lapel, bra even) to record in addition to the studio recording on set. Hence the low quality of the voice and atmospheric recording--this is all lavalier. They transmit the video and audio separately across satellite to various affiliates, where the nice audio can be mixed into the stations audio using the shit recording for syncing only. That's how people get their hands on those satellite feeds of world leaders on hot mics in various stages of skullduggery, or being hypnotized before airtime, etc.--hijacked using their Dishes on route to where they cobble together the real Showbiz Magic/Damage. Anyhow, it's probably fake, but here. |
