seems like the guy was agonizing prior to the video starting plus you can see some blood already. My guess is that he dropped him pulled out his phone to record them hit him with a headshot. I don’t think he knew he only had 1 round left in the weapon as he kept trying to shoot him afterwards. The slide locked back after that shot.

He had an empty mag already before shooting the last round. Either he emptied the mag on the victim's body or he inserted an empty mag in a gun with a chambered round. |
