Actually, Crocodile Cuntee, it's personal experience talking when I point out what a twit you are. I've had to deal with an attempted home intruder when I was living with my then-girlfriend in what was the murder capitol of the U.S. at the time, and that asshole in particular was a three-time felon and an ex-con who did time in Riker's on coke, assault, and weapons charges. I was nice enough to call the cops, but I was also smart enough to have my 12-gauge ready for whatever he brought through that door at me and my woman. A weaker door would've given long before the cops got there, and a weaker man such as yourself would have been murdered while waiting to be rescued by someone else.

But had the cops not gotten there first, the world wouldn't have missed him any more than I would have, and the city and the state would have saved money not having had to incarcerate him.

According to Wikipedia's sources, there have been at least 7 mass murders in Australia since the Port Arthur massacre.

Also according to Wikipedia's sources, Australia has 15 guns for every 100 individuals. So no, not a gunless uptopia.
