I can better understand why many Americans seem to feel many many events are "false flags"/fake. I never really cared but I will say that this incident does feel strange to me. It doesn't feel 'authentic'. I don't even really know how to word it...

I've seen all the videos posted in this thread and in the other thread that was originally in the Current Events section. Very little to no blood, guts, gore, bodies or anything at all. In one video, the camera is facing directly at the hotel and I don't see any sparks or flashes that the gun would be emitting.

But I wouldn't say that it's some kind of acting set or anything like that. Perhaps, some sort of inside fake job. It sounds silly and I feel silly typing it but that what I make of it. A user here posted an alleged audio recording of police communications before the police forced their way into his room. It didn't seem real... The woman speaker (presumably dispatch) at one point told the police to get back so another police officer could use the explosive breach. I was thinking, "huh?". Why would she tell them if they are right next to him and he is talking normally with the lady..? Very strange.

There are plenty of shooting videos on this site where there's very little to no visible blood. It's not the movies. As for muzzle flash... same point, this isn't Hollywood. Plenty of gun videos out there where you can't see the flash.
