Can't speak for anyone else.. but I was stabbed in the neck during a fight. The initial thought in my mind was that I was sweating profusely; it was a muggy hot night. A few seconds later, I realized I had been stabbed. Similar action... blood spurting from neck etc.

I was a kid.. maybe 16? I vividly remember all of it. Walking into the ER with my hand around my neck to try and slow down the blood flow. The staff trying/wanting to cut my favorite shirt off my chest. (still have it) A homicide detective interviewing me in the hospital.. pretty fucking wild |
