I tried to stay informed on it but civil shyt is hard to find unless it actually goes to court. To my knowledge, they haven’t sued the cops & if they do it really is shameless. The fucked thing is, they may have a case to because (and I agree with everyone else) but it could be looked at as ‘dereliction of duty’ because he should have took em in but if the parents sue, it’s the most shameless money grab (over a dead girl and your critically injured son) that’s low. The girls family would have somewhat more, I don’t like it but I get it. Simply because she wasn’t the retard in this situation anyways, see a lot of comments about it & I tried but it looks to me they will just let this tragedy be what it is. Tbh if they try to sue, I will try to get the kid on a manslaughter charge for recklessly endangering a girls life, that prolly shut the lawsuit down lol
