Honestly, I trust self-driving vehicles more than most of the "people" on the road today. It is usually these "people" who are driving like maniacs, endangering everyone.

I have been in the trucking industry for 20+ years and that is exactly what happened. Most trucks now have e-logs so they do not go over the legal driving time, however there are ways around it.
