I feel like this is gonna be me. 10 years of world-class training and teaching combat sports and self defense, knife fight survivor, but if I ever get in a 2nd knife fight I feel like I’m gonna trip over a bench or slip on a banana peel. We do train not to go directly backwards when giving up ground but to move at angles and not cross our feet, but he went FORWARD over that bench because the moment he saw the knife his parasympathetic nervous system took control and he experienced tunnel vision. We lost a well-trained guy last year to a random knife attack. If that ain’t my bitch, I mean like my real bitch, I’m leaving dust trails like Looney Tunes. I’m out.
