Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
They essentially mugged him while he slept. If a random stranger is in your car and attacks you from behind, would your first thought really be, "I'm the criminal in this situation, obviously, this is my problem to figure out,"? It's hard to control your reactions when you're genuinely spooked, let alone immediately be able to assess that police are surprise-detaining you while you sleep. I've been asleep in a car, and never have I been attacked from the back by cops. Officers usually knock politely on the window to wake one up, make sure one is okay/coherent, and then they start asking questions. This video was weird. |

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
I'm so glad that I'm not living in the USA I'd be the minority anyway, cause I'm a whitey , but still there is a chance that a cop would kill me for breathing oxygen because the blacks in the 80-90's taught them to fear the citizens |

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
The police said "Stop or I'll shoot" and he shoot the guy immediately after he completed his sentence. It look like a practical process of sequence from what they learn from police academy. Because the book never said clearly whether have to wait for respond or a few second before taking action. Just like I have asked my driving instructor "When is the right time or distance away from the turning corner that I need to turn on my signal?" and the instructor told me "No such thing as right or wrong time/distance, you take your own judgment.". Presume that this was how American polices were taught。

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
100 feet on a street, 300 feet on a highway... Its irrelevant in regards to police and pulling the trigger. If you are currently doing something that justifies getting shot, that's your fault. The police are not obliged to wait and see if you will comply. It's little more than a formality... |
