The humane way would’ve been to euthanize this guy 5 years ago at the Canadian age limit of 75.

Would any Canadians like to weigh in on that whole plan that’s going on up there?

Penalty phase of this trial is horrible as his poor wife testified how she watched her husband of 45 years die.

I’m glad that more vicious dog owners are being held accountable these days, at least. If “it’s the owner, not the breed!!!”, then it stands to reason that they should have the book thrown at them.

Years ago, After a project during which my intentions were to defend pitbulls and place blame solely on their "bad" owners, I did extensive research on this breed and it's history of attacks. During my research I realized that the overwhelming vast majority of pitbull attacks were carried out by dogs with loving owners. These people had raised alot of them since they were puppies. They were well taken care of and treated like family. Of all these owners, exactly 100% of them were completely shocked that their loving dog could do such a thing. Many said things like "I trusted him with my life", or "he was with my 2 yr old child all the time and never showed any aggression. Then one day he killed my child". These people did everything right, yet their dogs became killers. There are countless examples of this. So while my intentions were to blame the owners, it turns out that these killer instincts are embedded in the breed. Some of the events the "set off" their dogs were
• someone coughed
• a pillow fell off the couch
• a passing car honked their horn
• the alarm clock went off
• the phone rang
The list of these "triggering events" is long, and they're all just as ridiculous.
While there are certainly pitbulls out there that have never hurt anyone, make no mistake, it's still in their DNA. They are killing machines, and they are most definitely to blame, rarely the owners fault.

I have spent a good deal of my life with 3 pitbulls at various times, and all 3 were the best 3 dogs I've ever known. My favorite thing in my whole life was a pitbull I raised from a pup and who died 2 years ago. She was the sweetest instance of life I have ever encountered. She was loyal to no end. She was very socialized and was fine around new dogs, cats, and children. She once brought a praying mantis into my house in her mouth and dropped it on the living room floor, unscathed. But she was powerful. She would drop her toy the moment I told her to, but oh man would she fight for it until then. She was a fun workout buddy. Everytime I see videos like this I am so saddened, because I know how precious these dogs can be, and yet I also realize how dangerous they can be. Kinda like the sick fuckers on this site.

Wtf are those cops doing!? Unless they are firemen... at that point if it the cops they should've shot those beasts right between the eyes!!! I know someone who had to shoot 2 pit bulls in the middle of the day because they were terrorizing a neighborhood and had already killed someone else's dog. It was in a bad part of town, yet he was thanked profusely by everybody and several made statements that he did the right thing. They really are a menace to society. I also know a girl (20's) who had her "faithful and graceful" pitbull… For years, and then out of nowhere decided to chomp on her leg and tore the meat right off down to the bone. She spent more than two months in the hospital. At least the mongrel didn't get her two month old baby! It was a nightmare
