Re: USA - Elderly Man Killed By Pitbulls

Locked on/Lock jaw is again the same thing, quit being narrow-sighted.
They're not the same thing, you have a misunderstanding of what lock jaw is, and how it works. Dogs simply don't have the physiology to "lock" their jaws on command like crocodiles who have an additional joint that essentially allows them to do so.

Lock jaw is a condition where the jaw is either involuntarily stuck open OR closed. It can be caused by trauma, nerve damage, infections like tetanus, cancer, obstructions like sticks, inflammation, etc. So when you see a dog clamp down and not let go, its due to the strength and personality traits of that breed and/or they've undergone "bitework" training (which could come in the form of straight abuse, or legitimate training like what police K9s go through).

Re: USA - Elderly Man Killed By Pitbulls

Someones cute pet coming to say hello? Shoot it right in the face.

Bloody pitbull trying to kill you? Better not use a gun..

Classic US Cops
They were firefighters, not cops, the dogs were american staffordshire terriers, not pit bulls, and all 3 have since been euthanized.

Re: USA - Elderly Man Killed By Pitbulls

Though pitbulls are a tougher, naturally more agressive brred than most I tend to agree that there are few naturally bad pitbulls and many many bad owners who don't socialize and condition the dog properly. I was terrified by pitbulls due to all the negative hype, and one day I was hanging around under a tree Awith my little 3 year old great-neice and two pitbulls came out of nowhere. I prepared for thje worst and held my niece up over my head so at least she wouldn't get the brunt of the attacjk

Kill all pitbulls.
And why didn't these guys with axes fucking hit those dogs? I’d punch them after I killed those dogs. Dog owner should be shot!

Re: USA - Elderly Man Killed By Pitbulls

Hate the comments about pit bulls, as they are good dogs. It's the owners that are to blame.
