The two other cops are almost certainly going to be in wheelchairs or suffer other crippling disabilities, pain, and loss of bodily function for the rest of their lives. The stopping power of 7.62x39 was clearly demonstrated here. But stopping power doesn't mean killing power, even though it has that, too.

Because he's fighting 4 people shooting at him from 4 different angles you would have to be absolutely perfect to win a fight like that. It's not like they are coming at him 1 by 1 like it's a movie.
