Re: USA - Cop Accidentally Kills Subject
That is not true. Well, it's true for "basic gun safety" for basic gun handling. But cops are not basic gun handlers. They are professional gun handlers. The gun is their tool, and no games are being played when it's pulled. Cops are not trained to keep their finger off until bang bang time. I was a cop for a short period. I'm still have cop friends, and still go to the State Police target range where training takes place. Cops are trained to keep finger off trigger until their target is in sights. Simply because they're dealing with moving targets that bang bang back. And pointing your weapon at someone without your finger on the trigger means you don't have them in your sights. Even if you technically do. Because that move to trigger pull shouldn't be finger straight away from trigger. Oh shit fast as possible pull trigger. This would cause poor first shot. Because you squeeze the trigger. Not slap it with your finger. |

I know that incident you're talking about, dude went into a diabetic coma and died and cop thought he was being a hero wrestling around with a corpse.

Re: USA - Cop Accidentally Kills Subject
Maybe 13/50 would change if you just laid there and let the black people do what they want. Take your money, rape you, or beat you up. Same response. If you don't resist an aggressor, the chances of that aggressor murdering you goes down. You have a right to defend yourself or flee from aggressors. You wouldn't defend an armed robber murdering a cashier for fighting back. So why do you defend cops murdering people for fighting back? I know the answer. But the answer is logically inconsistent and special pleading. |
