And not just in case of trans people but in case of all people. The whole concept of segregated locker rooms is a relic of religious sexual oppression. There are countries where men and women have shared locker rooms and naked saunas. The idea that men and women need to be separate is purely cultural preconditioning and it serves no positive purpose. If we had been born into a culture where men and women share locker rooms/bath rooms then we wouldn't pay any attention to it. In fact, we would look at people who segregate themselves based on gender and think that they are weirdos.
PS: I've seen many men bring their naked girls into men's shower rooms and vice versa...escort their young girls into the women's locker rooms. It's not a problem for anyone.
