After viewing the video, I'm surprised you would say that.

It's clear that the pickup, an F150 Lightning, approached them extremely fast. For anyone who isn't familiar with that particular model, it's an EV that does 0-60 in <4.0 seconds and does emit any engine or exhaust noise. Even if they were facing it, they may not have recognized the threat it until it emerged from a crowd it had just mowed down. If they were facing a different direction, their only warning may have been 1-2 seconds of screams.

This has nothing to do with natural selection. Like every other victim of this senseless act, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The two most recent videos show in graphic detail how devastating this act was. I'm sure many victims saw it coming, but couldn't get out of the way.

Whether they became a victim had as just as much to do with chance as it did anything else.

I tried to trim the clip so that it starts right when the first bystanders become aware something is going down. Slowed it down right as the dude in the middle of the street realizes he probably shouldn't be there. Unfortunately for the girl on the left, her reaction time was not as swift as the other two. Plus just dumb fucking luck where she was standing in the middle of that street.

They didnt, and thats why they separated Christianity and other religions from the state. At that time, when the US was being founded, Christians were the "muslims of the day" and did a lot of killing and conquering. They were killing and persecuting each other, their neighbors and everyone who disagreed with their specific cult variant. Thats why the Europeans who left Europe, decided to do better and avoid having any cult getting power over other cults.
