I am assuming that somehow it missed the brain. All other videos show people go limp immediately after a shot to the head. This guy stays still for awhile before falling. Perhaps all those drugs in the system ?

It is not an AK47. That is an AKS-74U which fires the 5.45X39mm. Lighter smaller projectile than the 7.62 similar to the .223(5.56) although is said to have better yaw and performance over the .223(5.56) when it hits the body. Both are high velocity bullets I would expect his head to have some extensive damage.
