We used the M855A1 which is a copper jacketed steel core instead of lead core. They worked well against body armor and acted like FMJ against soft targets except it was even better. An M855A1 would go through muzzys head and leave a hole about the size of a pencil in both entry and exit. It would shatter the skull considerable without expelling the contents out like a volcano.
