Re: Ukrainian Atrocities
I'm not saying it's not enough. I'm saying that is an estimate, so it may be too low, or too high, but it's not just a count of confirmed. It's not like they're saying, " this is all we can confirm, but there's probably thousands more". And I disagree with your premise that American GI's women were untouchable. I mean, if someone raped my sister, my wife, I'd be out for blood no doubt. I'd be beyond pissed, and would probably look to inflict great suffering on those I believe responsible. But I wouldn't go rape their sister or wife. Because I think that would make me an awful person, and basically justifying all the rapes on all sides. As if its just a part of the war. |

Re: Ukrainian Atrocities
Yeah, I wouldn’t too. I don’t think anybody should ( that why I said - let’s call it an excuses). But you know , you and me wouldn’t, some other guys, who want that woman, would use this excuse. Even if it didn’t affect their family ... you know, kind of JUST BECAUSE behavior. No matter what it is, Russians are always the bad guys... Germany did so many crimes and yet, everyone is talking about Russia, amazing. Did you know that besides regular concentration camps , Germany had camps for blood transfusions? Where they kept KIDS ONLY! They had like 5 or 6 of them in Belarus. Thousands of kids. This is crazy! Taking blood from kids to support Wermaht soldiers... how many died because of this?! Look it up. Look at those monuments and letters from kids. And yet Russia is an army of rapists and animals .. I wonder how world would react if Russia did at least half of those crimes that Germans did... heh |

Re: Ukrainian Atrocities
I've always been astounded and in complete disbelief and sickened by the nazi's. I can't even comprehend the shit they did. What you mentioned is awful, but is really nothing compared to some of their evil. Obviously the concentration camps, one of which I've visited. Just the entire thing with jews. I don't care how much you hate someone, how you could take all those people, and kill them. Little children, just rip them out of their parents arms and kill them. Like I said, I can't even imagine being that child, or being that parent. They'd have to shoot me right there. But then again you wouldn't want your child to see that. But maybe it would be better, to say, if you're going to kill us, you're going to kill us together, because you're not taking my children off to die with no friendly face to give them comfort. It pisses me off just thinking about it. So I can understand the anger of Ryssian people. And I could understand torchoring the fuck out of every nazi soldier. But again not all nazi soldiers were nazis. Some of them had no choice. Which is why I think its important to remember everyone's evils. And look at ww2 as to how demented and ruthless people are. And how awful things happening creates more awful things happening. I don't give Russia a pass because if Germany never invaded Russia, Russia wouldn't have given a fuck about all that shit Nazis were doing. Russia would have likely helped Germany win its wars. |

Re: Ukrainian Atrocities
Agreed on everything, but there is always s BUT! We do not know what would happen. It’s hard enough to judge everyone fairy without what if’s. I mean, what if JP Morgan’s supplied wermacht and national-socialistic party with Hitler? To do exactly what happened in Europe? To put one nation above all for the next 60 years? To leave their “rivals” in ruins and make them beg for money? How did Germany got where it was in 1939 ( economically, technologically and weapon wise) after WW1 in 25 years, under all sanctions ? What if this “what if” is true? Pretty crazy to think about it. War that cost almost what 40 millions life’s? Leave alone destructions . Russia don’t need a pass. They don’t ask for it, all they want is to be treated equally in good or bad. They did bad things , just like others .. |

Re: Ukrainian Atrocities
BTW which concentration camp did you go to? My grand father was in Buchenwald for 3 years. He was 15 when nazis came to his city Herson in Ukraine. Him and his friend wanted to steal their radio station but it turned out to be too heavy, so they broke it.. and got caught. He didn’t know what Happened to his friend, never saw him again, he got sent away to Buchenwald. And survived there until 1945 when Red Army came to free them.
