Although I could care less about pissing on terrorists; this is idiotic publicity in a counter-insurgency war. Their Commanders should teach them they're supposed to gain the hearts and minds of the locals and you defeat your own mission by doing these things, recording them and putting it on the internet.

The first general wanted body counts and reports to analyze, to see what an impact they were having on the NVA.

They replaced him and his tactics with a more conservative one, and he wanted to win the hearts and minds of people. They obviously did not post it on the internet, but the results of that change did some very bad things for us. It destroyed our soliders moral.

I guess you could see it that way, but you could also look at it like the soldiers didn't want to be there because they didn't know what they were fighting for...... basically they got involved in a civil war on the other side of the earth.
In light of the Gulf Of Tonkin Incident, if they knew what was really playing out behind closed doors in Washington not 1 person should have sacrificed their life in that pointless war.
