Re: Two-Year-Old Playing Around With Gun Shoots His Mother Dead
It seems like that family had the right ingredients for a disaster just waiting to happen. If it hadn't happened then, I think it would have happened at some point due to their negligence.

It was the father’s gun. Maybe he should have laid off grinder, put his phone down, and put the gun away

Re: Two-Year-Old Playing Around With Gun Shoots His Mother Dead
Every time I think the human race can't get any dumber... As an owner, I just can't wrap my head around this. I have not/never would have the gun around ANYONE. You don't get do-overs with even a microsecond of fuckery with a weapon. Once my adult child asked to see it and I flat out said no. My wife knows where I have it stashed but she is terrified of it and wouldn't touch it. If I drop over dead, my brother (also an owner) would come to the house and take it away. While I wish no one had died in this galactic display of stupidity, I am glad it wasn't the kid who was shot. |

Re: Two-Year-Old Playing Around With Gun Shoots His Mother Dead
The brat was obviously somewhat familiar with this firearm. I can imagine it was flashed around the kid quite often and if truth beknownst, the parents probably let the brat handle the firearm.
