Seller misinterpreted buyers desire for "under the counter" deal. Which reminds me, I flew to Rio in 1991 to train an automation company on our companies software, they gave me about 10K USD in cash to pay for software, wouldn't give me a check because they would have to pay like 100% tax in Brazil. Got back to Chicago, gave the cash to our accountant, president asked "why did Gimlet get the payment in cash?" My boss said to him "Gimlet converted it to cocaine to cross the border"
