Thing is you have no idea if the reason they were killed has anything to do with religion. Sometimes, in war stricken areas, unknown people are targeted to learn more about them. Are they a spy? What are you really doing here when you know there is a war raging on? Or my personal opinion is it is more likely race related. Whites are the worst oppressors in history, so they make very convenient targets to be killed, even though not all of us whites were devils throughout history. The article said they were fired upon when they tried to flee, so maybe, they would have eventually been released..? At any rate, I don’t blame them for trying to get away, but then again, I would have never been there in the first place. |

The Almighty was everywhere. The power of the almighty is love. Our sin is not just knowing evil but experiencing it, for which the Almighty offers Grace (even to a wretch like you and myself). We would all do better to embrace the true power of the Almighty in our hearts. But we don't. "Gxd" was there. They now rest in peace. Pray for those children.

They didn’t just recently travel there for a short term trip, they lived there and helped run an orphanage. When things became more volatile recently, they chose to stay to try and protect the orphans.

They got robbed by the first group of gangsters. Another group showed up and their security guards fired at them. So the second group retaliated and murdered them. Usually they don't kill foreigners without provocation, especially if they can use you for ransom. |
