Two Service Men from an Energy Company Shot and Killed by Thugs
Two service men from an energy company identified as J.V.M. and Fr.C.d.S. were executed this morning (15) in the Metropolitan Region of São Luís, Brazil. According to initial police reports, the victims went to the scene to fix an electric power outage in one of the residences and after fixing the power they were surprised by gunshots while they were in the company's vehicle. Both men did not resist the severity of the injuries and died at the scene. The police are conducting searches to try to capture and arrest those who would have practiced the double homicide. The company regretted the incident and expressed their solidarity with the family members. |

Perhaps the power was off for a reason - a reason that was conformable to the interests of the criminals - and they didn't want it put back into service. Or maybe they had illegally tapped into the grid and somehow that backfired taking the power down, and didn't want that looked into too closely. Even the criminal gangs usually have some reason for killing, at least something that constitutes a reason for them.
