I wonder if that flying helmet had a head in it..... I thought they wore body chutes to slow them down when this happens, or is it ejector seats for when this happens, or is it diapers for when this happens! All 3 wouldn't have helped much unless used all together... Eject... Deploy chute... shit your diaper! |

Are you guys from the UK? I grew up in Oregon, USA and we always said "skipping" stones. I've never heard anyone say skimming. Just curious.

It's a catch 22 situation. There are no belts to prevent them from drowning if something happens which obviously offers no protection when something like this happens. It's sad, but they know the risks every time they fire those puppies up and accept those risks willingly.
